Giudecca Productions is an exciting new Performing Arts company marking the collaboration of two dynamic young producers: Isobel Smith and Lara Wolinski. Whilst both worked extensively on stage in musical theatre, their formal drama training, in Manchester and Exeter respectively, garnered each with a reputation for producing high quality Drama. Lara’s work concentrated on creating devised, movement, and site-specific work, whilst Isobel’s emphasis fell on developing works from new writers, working in such venues as the Contact Theatre, Manchester. In combining their passions, their skills and their experience, Giudecca hopes to represent a unique force in the promotion and production of Musical Theatre. As two women striving for success in the UK’s current cultural climate we understand the difficulties presented to other individuals hoping to forge a career in the Performing Arts Industry, and this has strongly informed Giudecca’s artistic policy.
